Sean Day – Three Division Kickboxing Champion died at 22

Hawaii – A beloved Member of Hawaii Elite MMA and Gracie Technics Jiu-jitsu has died.

Sean Day, 22, a rising star in Hawaii and nephew of former UFC fighter Martin Day lost his battle with cancer.

According to a GoFundMe launched on September 23, Sean was taken to the emergency room with head pains and vomiting. Scans and MRIs confirmed that Sean has advanced testicular cancer, which has spread to his head and chest areas.

The Kailua native Sean Day has been an amateur mixed martial artist for the last ten years. He was bullied for autism. He learned quickly and claimed Kickboxing Titles in THREE different Weight Classes under the direct supervision of his Coach and Uncle Martin Day.
